Neurology is a medical specialty that deals with the nervous system and its disorders.
They affect the central nervous system, the peripheral nervous system or the autonomic nervous system.
Neurological diseases have various symptoms, such as stiffness, amplified or delayed reflexes, motor or sensory disturbances, pain, paresis, paralysis, and others.
Some of them may also be associated with the presence of other diseases, but a visit to a neurologist is necessary to refine the diagnosis and correctly resolve the problem.

Dr. Ivaylo Yotov is a neurologist in Sofia with over 30 years of experience and professional interests in peripheral nervous system diseases.
He diagnoses and treats patients with diseases of the central, peripheral and autonomic nervous system.

Dr. Marina Krasteva graduated from the Medical University of Sofia in 2016. with a diploma for excellent success. Since January 2017. started specialization in Neurology at the University Hospital “Tsaritsa Ioanna – ISUL”. In 2019. wins a 1-year fellowship to specialize in cerebrovascular diseases in Bern, Switzerland. From September 2020. is a PhD student at the Department of Neurology, Medical University of Sofia. He has a number of publications in Bulgarian and international scientific journals. Participates in trainings and congresses in the country and abroad. She has had short-term (1-month) specializations in Germany and Italy. Member of the Bulgarian Society of Neurology, the European Academy of Neurology (EAN) and the European Stroke Organisation (ESO).

Dr. Milka Orozova – specialist in nervous diseases with many years of experience in the field of cerebrovascular diseases; diagnosis and treatment of multiple sclerosis, Parkinson’s disease, treatment with plasmapheresis, diseases of the peripheral nervous system.
Until March 2021 he worked in the intensive care unit for neurological diseases at Tsaritsa Ioanna University Hospital – ISUL, and since 1981 he has been an assistant professor at the Department of Neurology of the Institute of Neurology, Psychiatry and Neurosurgery – MN and Tsaritsa Ioanna University Hospital.
Specialization in medical university in Moscow. Participates in international, multicentre studies, symposia and congresses. Author of a number of scientific publications.
Co-author of the monograph “Nanotechnology membrane therapeutic ferresis in human diseases” published in 2020.
