Endocrinologist

General information

Endocrinological diseases are common and affect both men and women.
They are associated with disorders in the activity of the endocrine glands, which leads to various health problems.
The trend towards increasing endocrine diseases is quite worrying and requires specialized intervention by an endocrinologist.
In addition, bone density disorders, such as osteoporosis, also fall under endocrinology.
These conditions require close monitoring and management by the endocrinologist, who can recommend appropriate therapies and lifestyle changes to improve bone health.
Diabetes is one of the socially important endocrinological diseases, which is already present in early childhood.
All forms, including type 1 and type 2, can be controlled with medication and an appropriate nutritional diet.
The endocrinologist plays a key role in the management of diabetes by monitoring the patient’s condition, adjusting treatment as necessary and providing recommendations for a healthy lifestyle.
Another worrying trend is the increase in thyroid disease.
Diseases such as goiter, hypothyroidism and hyperthyroidism are increasingly common.
The endocrinologist is the specialist who diagnoses these conditions through various tests and examinations, then prescribes appropriate treatment, which may include hormone therapy or other medications.

Diseases

  • Pre-diabetic state
  • Established diabetes mellitus
  • Diseases of the thyroid gland – Baseda disease, Hashimoto’s disease, etc.
  • Metabolic problems,
  • Disturbances in the function of other endocrine glands – parathyroid, adrenal, gonads, pituitary and hypothalamus.

Clinical examination with Endocrinologist

The endocrinology office at the medical center is state-of-the-art and designed with the comfort and convenience of both the endocrinologist and the patient in mind.
It provides all the necessary conditions for professional and qualitative conduct of the diagnostic and therapeutic process.

This allows the patient to feel relaxed and confident during the examination and discussion of their health condition.
The endocrinologist can calmly collect a detailed history, conduct the necessary physical examinations, and order appropriate laboratory and imaging studies.

The endocrinology office also offers individual consultations and treatment programs that are tailored to the specific needs and health status of each patient.
This includes developing personalized treatment plans that may include medication therapy, dietary recommendations and lifestyle changes.
The endocrinologist monitors and controls the patients’ progress, periodically reviewing test results and adjusting treatment when necessary.
